Yeah, I am. It’s not that work isn’t going well, it’s just that I’ve been scheduled to close pretty much every night that I work, and that would mean that I wouldn’t leave the store till 11:30 or later. I have to get up at 5 in the morning for school, and I have a lot of extra-curricular activities. So, I really don’t have the time or sanity for a job right now. Trust me, I LOVE being a barista. It’s been one of the best experiences of my life, and hopefully I can try again this summer.
Putting in my two-weeks tomorrow. Closing this blog soon.
I can’t work with this shit anymore.
I’ve been working for all of two fucking weeks, and my fucking manager already expects me to close the cafe BY MYSELF?! One, that would take me like 2 fucking hours, and two, I have to get up at 5 the next morning for school. Newsflash- I’m 17 years old, I live with my parents, I’m in 3 AP classes, and you never taught me how to do all the closing chores. Yes, I love this job, but I will happily quit if you’re gonna work me like a fucking dog.
Fuck this, I’m refusing to do it, then I’m turning in my two weeks.
